Update on M4 J10 slip road closures

Update from Highways England, who have changed the dates for the M4 J10 slip road closures

  • CANCELLED Thursday 19 October – Overnight closure of the link from the M4 eastbound carriageway around to the A329(M) Wokingham-bound carriageway (9pm to 6am)
  • CANCELLED Friday 20 through to Monday 23 October – Full weekend closure of the link from the M4 eastbound carriageway around to the A329(M) Wokingham-bound carriageway (9pm Friday evening through to 6am Monday morning)

 

In addition, the slip road closures for other dates in October and November have changed as follows:

 

  • Thursday 26 October – This is now a planned overnight closure of the link from the M4 eastbound carriageway around to the A329(M) Wokingham-bound carriageway (this was originally planned to be a closure of the link from the M4 westbound carriageway around to the A329(M) Reading-bound carriageway)
  • Friday 27 through to Monday 30 October – This now a full weekend closure of the link from the M4 eastbound carriageway around to the A329(M) Wokingham-bound carriageway (this was originally a planned weekend closure of the link from the M4 westbound carriageway around to the A329(M) Reading-bound carriageway)

 

  • Thursday 2 November – Overnight closure of the link from the M4 westbound carriageway around to the A329(M) Reading-bound carriageway
  • Friday 3 through to Monday 6 November – Full weekend closure of the link from the M4 westbound carriageway around to the A329(M) Reading-bound carriageway

 

  • Thursday 9 November – this is a contingency overnight closure only and could be either slip road depending on which is required
  • Friday 10 through to Monday 13 November – this is a contingency weekend closure only and could be either slip road depending on which is required

 

All overnight closures are from 9pm to 6am; and weekend closures are from 9pm on the Friday evening through to 6am on the Monday morning.
