The formal public consultation on proposals to change the M4 into a “smart motorway” between junctions 3 and 12 has now opened.

A “smart motorway” uses the hard shoulder as a lane during peak times, and has variable speed limits.

They will be holding an exhibition at Winnersh Community Centre (off Mole Road, Sindlesham, next to Bearwood Rec) on FRIDAY 28th November between 2 pm and 8 pm, so put that date in your diary.
